San Diego Convention Center

During this partnership project Spark Compass improved Sand Diego Convention Center's operations and revenue streams, and enhanced visitors' journey experiences. We delivered relevant messages and contents to visitors, attendees at the booths, across and beyond San Diego Convention Center, and guided the users of the Application through Convention Center by using Indoor navigation and Proximity beacons. Launch of Defy Puma Sneakers with Selena Gomez

Hollywood PR event in Beverly Hills with popstar Selena Gomez and Puma supported by Spark Compass Platform leveraging Selena Gomez's 135 million Instagram followers. Users were able to download the Puma Defy City App with Scavenger Hunts across Los Angeles. Fans who downloaded the App and found the five posters with Selena Gomez wearing the shoes had a task to activate AR experience which was mandatory to receive an invitation and pass to Selena Gomez's party in Paramount studios.

Steps were simple: download the App, hold the phone up against a poster discovered and Selena, along with Puma sneakers, would come alive in an Augmented Reality (AR) experience. Find all five posters and you would be entered into a contest. The lucky winner had the opportunity to spend 2 hours with Selena.

America's Yacht Cup 2017 Bermuda

For the America's Cup in Bermuda, Spark Compass activated a network of geofences and beacons across the island, delivering targeted messages and information to fans. This approach not only enhanced the event experience but also supported security efforts by monitoring crowd movements. All activations were done 1 month before and months after as a part of integration with the Official America's Cup Mobile App.

The Platform engaged over 4 million users, highlighting the global appeal of the America's Cup and the effectiveness of Spark Compass in managing large-scale event engagement and logistics.

Manchester’s Science in the City Festival

Spark Compass Powers Manchester’s Digital Experiences as the First UK City to be Crowned the European City of Science

Visitors to Manchester’s Science in the City festival, July 22-29, needed only to download the Science Manchester App in order to “stumble upon” digital experiences that are “automagically” presented as visitors explore the city. The App features virtual tours, videos, Augmented Reality, never-before-seen views of Manchester, facts and figures, and much more.

The Spark Compass Platform integrated IoT sensors, Geo-features and Beacon technology to enable Contextual experiences at the right time and place. Beacons have been placed throughout Manchester that combine with geolocation to trigger experiences, information, videos and fun science facts as visitors stroll through the city and the exhibition areas. Platform powered these experiences through the Science Manchester App.

Smart America Challenge

Silver Award for the White House Presidential Innovation Fellow Project

Spark Compass created and implemented a campaign related to Verifying and Rewarding healthy behavior in White House Offices. Campaign was deployed around healthy eating and healthy behavior for office workers.

Extreme Sailing Series

Spark Compass Platform was used at the races in San Diego and Cabo San Lucas. The Spark Compass was also the sponsor of the US Team's entry into the races with its dedicated boat called the Spark Compass Element USA Team. In this instance, the Application was built completely by Spark Compass. Each temporary village and viewing stand were activated with the Spark Compass geofences.

VIP areas were activated with geofence, series of beacons and sponsor locations were activated and Augmented Reality experiences implemented based on the participating partners, logos, etc. Furthermore, at the Cabo San Lucas races Platform was integrated to use and deliver one of its first user-selected camera angles for a live race.

SUJA NRF Retail Partnership

The ARTS Pavilion at the National Retail Federation Big Show 2015 features a live demo of the Spark Compass Retail Marketing platform.

Spark Compass Platform Application solution partnered with Gimbal and Vuforia AR platform enabled deepen customer loyalty and extend how it engaged with fans with real-time communications at the point of sale. The Suja App, developed by Total Communicator Solutions, integrated Gimbal proximity beacons and other capabilities of the platform to deliver the right content to the right person in the right location.

Samsung Booth (Janitorial Workflow Solution)

Spark Compass Janitorial Workflow Solution with integrated Samsung Gear S3 watches as demonstrated by Samsung in their booth at CES 2017.

This enterprise wearable demonstration shows how Spark Compass PaaS solution integrated IoT sensors, beacons and edge computing on wearables with central database controls and Data capture. IT Staff at SAN is using next generation Spark Compass Enterprise Operations Platform Solution for dispatch, record keeping, bi-directional communications for IT support and support at SAN. The Spark Compass platform is fully integrated with the enterprise work flow, dispatch and ticketing solutions.

XiMED Patient Care Program

A large medical insurance company, wanted to provide its consumers with memberships across 4,600 Fitness Clubs. Spark Compass was able to identify the users that visited the club twice a week and spent at least an hour in the fitness club, in order to automatically reduce their medical insurance bill. In the case of XiMED and Scripps Hospitals, Spark Compass worked closely with Samsung and another telecommunications provider to create patient communication and discharge kits that would be given to patients upon prognosis and determination of the need for surgical treatment.

The kit includes a tablet that provides an AR experience that communicates any information regarding the procedures. It also doubles as a communication hub to the physicians and other staff, and forms an interface to connect with the patients’ inner circle of trust— their friends, families, and caretakers. Further, the kit includes a wearable device that provides medication reminders directly to the patient’s wrist, check-list reminders and via bi-directional communication to the Spark Compass Platform captures real-time confirmations, self-reporting data on medication compliance, sending reminders when needed— and can act as an early warning / alert system if a fall is detected initiating immediate communications to check on the patient’s wellness.

Patient care program connects patients to clinicians and program administrators to improve treatment outcomes, lower healthcare costs and accelerate patient discharge from hospitals.
